This is me....
The leisure industry equivalent of the Kevin Bacon Game there is a route from every bartender in the world to me (however tenuous). I got my first bar job at the tender age of 17 to get me through college and enjoyed it a little too much. This led to me dropping out of college and making a tidy living throwing bottles around for several years (even caught a couple). All of which led, inadvertently to the birth of my son Joshua and a need to get a "proper job". My roles within the company have always fitted into the grey areas between everybody else's responsibilities and that suits me fine, thanks.

This is what I've done...
As a bartender I was a regular on the competition circuit including being ranked as high as 15th in the world in the Roadhouse Flair League and I was a regional finalist in Flavour magazines Bartender of the Year.
As a trainer I have opened more than 50 bars in the UK and abroad and trained more than 1000 bartenders.
I started with LV as bar manager for the opening of The Living Room, Leeds where I was informed by somebody who shall remain nameless that "we didn't think you'd stay this long" in reference to my flighty past. That was 2001. Since then I have worked my way up the ladder and hope to be Master of the Universe by 2020. The person who made that comment has since moved on (ironic).

... And this is what I'm all about
During my years behind the bar I was known as the "King of Cheese" (amongst other things) due to my performances and I still have that buried deep inside me like an evil twin that can only be released with Miller Genuine Draft and Jagermeister. I am currently enjoying a mid-life crisis that keeps trying to convince me to start competing again despite common sense telling me that it would be like watching your Dad dance at a wedding. I intend to be the first person to live forever and plan on doing this without any of that healthy stuff that could improve my chances. After 9 years and 5 different cities I have come back to Stockport where I am surrounded by nieces and nephews who like to punch me until I make a funny noise.
