This is me.....

I served my apprenticeship in some of England's premier four and five star hotels such as 'The Complete Angler at Marlow', 'Inn on the Park, London' and 'Oakley Court Hotel, Windsor'. I started off in more celubrious spots in Lancashire before heading south but I fed off the challenges as my career progressed and decided that chefing was the niche I had been searching for.

This is what I've done ......

I was recruited by Jeremy at The Celebrated Group and my first position was Head Chef. Three years and two AA rosettes later - the first to be awarded in MerseysiIde - I left as Group Head Chef. After a short spell with Moat House Hotels I met Jeremy over a pint and decided to join him and Tim in Life Restaurants as Executive Head Chef. I have helped create all the brands that Life Restaurants and then Living Ventures have developed and I have always taken pride in presenting quality food at affordable prices, which is reflected in everything we do. It is my job to ensure that our menus are created, costed and delivered to a consistent level of quality.  

This is what I'm about .....

I am married and have three beautiful daughters who keep me in line !!! When I do get a bit of spare time I can be found making  a complete fool of myself on my motocross bike pretending to be 20 years younger! I am hoping to be recruited for the next edition of Grumpy Old Men - because I'd do it so much better than they do !
