Joined Living Ventures November 2003 when all the accounts team were in a small room in Booths Park House, have the honour of longest serving member of accounts, so am expecting a gold pin sometime soon.
Started as maternity cover for 6 months temp contract, so all these years on, it's a long 6 months! Have done Payroll since 1992 with the Ministry of Defence. Have also worked for Serviceair and Pets at Home. Will continue until something better comes along, like death.
I ensure the timely and accurate payment of wage and salaries and the reporting of salary figures to units and the Directors.
This is what I have done...
When I started there were 7 Living Rooms, so I have seen the expansion of The Living Rooms, selling off Prohibition bars, acquiring Est, selling off Living Rooms and now re-branding Est to Gusto and Grills. So when you call and I don't know if I'm coming or going!!!
...and this is what I'm all about
I own 2 vintage scooters, a 1964 Lambretta Li and a 1961 Vespa Sportique, so spend time with them. My other great love (apart form my Rachel of course) is curry and beer, in no order. Have spent years perfecting my curry recipes. I am waiting out my time for the Curry and Beer Concept Director roll to become available; Tim, Jez, I've got a few ideas, Beer and a Biryani, Pint and a Pilau. You know my number! Well, until then I will fend of irate mothers enquiring why little Johnny pays tax when he's a student!! Ye gads, even the Queen pays tax.
